In the second phase of our design process, we dive into the exciting world of design concepts.
From there, we embark on creating the layout and design direction for your space. We bring the layout to life through meticulously crafted design boards and renderings. These visual representations include options for color palettes, furnishings, finishings, fixtures, and more, tailored to meet your specific needs.

Ensuring that everyone is collectively aligned, we seek your approval on the approved concept for each space we are designing before proceeding with material selection and purchasing. This collaborative approach guarantees that the design truly takes shape according to your vision.

At Zimmerman Interiors, our design process is holistic, focusing not only on aesthetics but also on the functionality of your home. We present a conceptual design plan that encompasses inspiration imagery, a carefully curated color palette, finishes, and initial ideas for key pieces in each space. For new build projects, we go the extra mile by providing guidance on room sizes, window placements, sight lines, potential furniture space planning, and architectural features that will become key design elements.

Phase 2 marks a significant step in the design process, as the design concept begins to come alive.
DESIGN CONCEPTS
During this phase, we seamlessly transition from the conceptual design to the meticulous process of selections. At Zimmerman Interiors, we have curated a network of exceptional vendors and suppliers, both locally and nationally, enabling us to source materials, furnishings, and decor across various styles and levels of customization.

The selections and details phase is a critical stage, as it involves countless decisions to ensure every aspect of your space is perfectly tailored. For even smaller interior projects, these decisions can reach into the hundreds, while new build projects require attention to thousands of details. This phase is where we will guide you through these decisions, taking the stress out of the process and ensuring all details are considered.

Once the design concept is approved, we meticulously detail out the design and present finalized quotes for your approval. This includes specifying furnishing and decor items, as well as selecting the construction materials that bring the approved design to life. Our expertise extends to sourcing and purchasing fixtures, flooring, slabs, paint, furniture, lighting, window treatments, appliances, and more.

To guarantee that your vision is executed flawlessly, we take care of purchasing and coordinating all materials associated with the design. Through our trusted partnerships with vendor partners, we ensure the highest quality and timely delivery of materials. This comprehensive approach allows us to maintain control over every aspect of the design process, leaving you with peace of mind.

As we conclude this phase, our team will be fully prepared to move forward with construction and/or final installation, depending on the project requirements. Zimmerman Interiors is dedicated to the seamless execution of your design vision, making sure that every detail is carefully considered and implemented with precision.
SELECTIONS AND DETAILS
In the final phase of our design process, we begin the execution stage, where we bring our meticulously planned design to life. For projects involving construction, this entails providing detailed elevations and drawings to trades, attending regular site visits, and addressing any challenges that may arise.

When it comes to interior projects, we maintain close communication on the items ordered. Once the items are delivered, our team takes is there to install and style every item, ensuring it comes to life as planned.

For renovation or new construction projects, this involves overall construction project management and coordination with your chosen contractor. Instead of fragmented installations as items arrive, we schedule a dedicated day or multiple days, depending on the scale of the project, to orchestrate a transformative installation that unveils your space in its full glory.

At Zimmerman Interiors, we believe in the power of the grand reveal. We meticulously coordinate the installation to ensure a seamless and awe-inspiring transformation. From the careful placement of furniture to the artful arrangement of accessories, our design team leaves no detail untouched.
